| Golf Resume | Hi my name is Grace Schwan, I’m 16 years old and love to play golf! I started when I was in 6th grade (11/12 years old). From 6th grade on, I played on the Aberdeen Central Girls Golf Team. In 2018, during the summer I decided to play on the PGA jr. League Team... I was the only girl on the team and I was also the one of the teammates the coaches picked to play on the All-Star Team. The first round of the All-Star Team, we lost. However, it was a great experience and I learned from it. Last year when I played on JV, I played at Sisseton, I shot 60 (+1 because on one hole I shot over a 10 so I had to concede the hole). I also got 10th place there too but I only played 9 holes. In addition, to my season last year I played at Eureka, I shot 111 through 18 holes. I got 10th place there too which is a good start to the season. From Sisseton I got a ribbon and Eureka a medal. It’s too bad last year we didn’t get to start girls golf, but we can still practice, have fun, and work on our skills on the golf course while all of this is going on! This year, I’m playing on JV. I didn’t make Varsity but I’ll keep working to get better and better. I love golf so much and I can’t wait to play in some tournaments! |
